主要从事模拟蛋白酶、抗肿瘤等功能性生物材料的研究工作,2017年入选“东陆中青年骨干教师”培养计划。主持云南省应用基础研究计划项目、云南省教育厅资助性项目以及横向项目。发表SCI期刊论文20余篇,授权专利5项(其中2项美国发明专利)。
